Both myself and my wife have owned property on the Costa del Sol for a number of years now. When it was time to up-grade, we selected Marathon Estates (Ray) on the basis that they were the most diligent and efficient estate agent in responding to our communications and property requirements. This is particularly noteworthy, given that we have friends on the coast that are estate agents!
Throughout the purchase process Ray remained patient and listened carefully in respect of our requirements. In this undertaking we managed to narrow down our search within a weekend, and select our preferred property very shortly after. It was very refreshing to find a company that respected and remained within the requisite budget throughout the process. Good communications and timely responses to queries were maintained throughout the transaction.
Without doubt, Marathon Estates would be our first choice of estate agents on the coast for any future purchases.

Our experience buying our first property in Spain in September 2006, was made remarkably easy. We were invited over for a long weekend at a special rate, met by a representative, Ray Sweeney, who had arranged viewings on a few properties around La Cala, Cabapino and Calahonda, that met with our specifications.
We were not put under any pressure to buy, Ray made sure we were not rushed into making any decision we may regret in the future, in fact, it was a relaxed, no pressure weekend.
We viewed a property in Calahonda that Jo and I both had a good feeling about and after a second viewing, decided that was the one. Ray then set about agreeing our offer, put us in touch with a Solicitor and Mortgage Adviser and everything went ahead very smoothly.
